This 1925 semi-attached two family house will remain a two family. However, the organization is being completely rearranged and the house expanded out into the backyard.  This new expansion will be a contemporary geometry in contrast to the existing structure's architecture and include a double height space, maximizing the amount of light and air and view afforded the interiors. The materials for the addition will likely follow the same contemporary approach and with due sensitivity.
